Hearing test for pensioners

Cost: $0 (Fully Subsidised)

At Pacific Hearing, we’re honoured to be a fully accredited provider through the Australian Government’s Hearing Services Program (HSP). This initiative allows eligible individuals to receive fully subsidised, in-depth hearing assessments. If hearing devices or assistive listening technology are recommended, the program also offers financial support towards those costs for eligible individuals.

Who is eligible?
To qualify, you must be over 21 years of age and have one of the following:

  • A Pensioner Concession Card (PCC – Blue Card), including those receiving aged, carer, or disability pensions
  • Be a dependent of a person holding one of the above cards
  • A Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) Gold Card
  • A DVA White Card (for hearing-related conditions only)
  • A current member of the Australian Defence Force

Please be aware: the Seniors Health Card does not meet the eligibility requirements for HSP benefits.
